Armstrong Begins Production at Lewis Creek Mine
Today Armstrong Coal announced that it has begun producing coal from its newly opened Lewis Creek surface mine. Lewis Creek will utilize one dragline and the truck-and-shovel mining methods to mine coal from the West Kentucky #13A and 13 coal seams.
