Armstrong Reaches 650 Foot Depth at Slope of Kronos Mine
Today Armstrong Coal announced that it has reached approximately 650 feet in depth at the slope it is drilling for its new Kronos underground mine. Drilling of the slope, air shafts and other work on the mine continues on schedule and Armstrong anticipates opening the mine in 2011.
